
My Story
Origins
Starting his career at just 15 as a busboy in an Irish pub, Maxwell has spent the better part of his life in and out the service industry, taking on various roles along the way. He is currently the head of the bar department at Full Moon Resort, a private event venue serving New York City metropolitan clientele. During his time at Full Moon, he’s combined his creativity in mixology with his technical expertise to elevate their bar program and design their distinctive cocktail menus. Outside of hospitality, Maxwell is Rutgers Communication & Media undergraduate and worked as a freelance designer with a portfolio that spans across the arts and non-profit community, the cannabis industry, and more.

Original Cocktail ‘Orchard Oriole’
Drawing inspiration from his deep connection to nature, Maxwell channels the flavors of the Catskills into his drinks. With each season bringing a bounty of wild and locally cultivated fruits, herbs, and vegetables, the possibilities for unique flavor creations are endless. At Full Moon Resort, he has incorporated the property’s apple trees, mint patches, and blackberry bushes into signature house cocktails. In addition to foraging the land for unique ingredients, he strives to craft one-of-a-kind flavor experiences by pairing local produce with special edition and artisanal spirits. Pictured here is an original cocktail featuring a locally distilled ‘Orchard’ gin from Isolation Proof, Carpano Antica, Averna, and black walnut bitters.

Seeking to find the intersect between art & science, Maxwell strives to maintain quality and consistency of cocktails at a high volume scale. He has a proven track record of exceeding client expectations and providing top tier hospitality. With an acute attention to detail, he manages all of Full Moon’s private event bar service and leads a full time bar staff. He is purpose driven, team-oriented, and looks to raise the bar at every turn.
